A Brand
New Concept in Digital Entertainment is in development in the
ASID Labs. Publications Manager Gigi
James and RE are working on
scripting and production of a brand new "Podnovella".
The crispy delicious and still too wet to be named.
The "Jamaican Digital Drama" will center on the phone
gossip of a group of aquaintances from all over the globe;
their paramours; and the famous people who just happen to
cross their paths. this production is expected to debut
in the early days of 2008. the drama will be delivered
by downloads from websites all over the internet; and ITunes.
there will be a subscription rate, as well as a single episode
download purchase available. the cost per episode is expected
to be .99. this is in keeping with the logic that anybody has
a dolla for some drama. our research leads us to
believe that this downloadable drama will encourage the
purchase and reading of black novels and shortstories; by a
whole new tech savvy generation, quickly becoming bored with
their present accessable entertainment supply. The
storylines will center on the goings on of a group of
Jamaicans, a wild mix of Yardies,Yankies, and
Blokes sprinkled with a few mixed in Haitans and Trinis;
all chatting about their business, secrets, affairs, and
personal dramas. the closeness of the relationships will draw
you ever deeper into their personal dramas; and have you
waiting for the next episode as the Susu Agwan
Again..
We also formed
a bond with the TCOO Blog on MySpace - the
Largest African Interest Blog on MySpace; and the 3rd most read
Black Blog on the Internet; King Bookman and Vineyard will be
keeping you abreast of our developments here at Trenchtones; and
we'll be keeping their music spinning for your enjoyment and education.
Big Up Ya Self TCOO! A Brand New Foundation Sound DJ Series is in the works; after months of careful planning and negotiation - the first Trenchtones FoundationSound DJ Series has been announced.
The Soundsystems who will contribute their work, are doing so to Keep Foundation Dancehall Alive - for our Future Generations.
Many of the Biggest
and Most Well Known international, Jamaican and
American Reggae Soundsystems will be spinning live, and recording
the sessions from their boards; during a dance; these
fantastique live DJ Sessions will be relesed globally beginning in the summer of
2008.
Our First Series will focus on our roots
in the dancehall as Sensi Hi-Power. the Selector will be none
other than Mr
Arrows
Himself -
Ivan "Sonny" Linton.
When interviewed about the
project, Sonny Chin of Arrows
International Soundsystem
said "This is the
Way to Bring the Music to The People; like the kids do, with
Mixtapes".
We have reached a landmark agreement with
Arrows
International Soundsystem
; to include
such events as Their Annual Christmas and New Years Dances
- in New York and Miami; as well as the Fete for
Franco Nero and Reggae Nostalgia in Dec in Ft
Lauderdale.
We expect more than 10 hours of fabulous
live music from the throne of King Sonny and Arrows
International - So Big Up Unu Self !
The Series release will
be on the Trenchtones
Label; and distributed globally by our parent company - MusicalAmbassador.com .
Thanks to the
digital resoures available today; we will be producing our
Foundation Sound DJ Series for as long as We Can Locate True
Live DJ's & Foundation
Soundsystems.
